Floral Street's Art Club

Using recycled art materials Floral's Art Club refreshed an older Floral Artwork. The students also made 2014 calendars from used CD covers. I wonder what is next ?  :)

Second grade artists

Second Graders started painting today. They are making symmetrical warm colored fish in a cold blue ocean.  Clean up was a snap :)

Local artist vista for a day!

Steve Faucher visited Floral Street’s third grade art classes on Thursday October 17^th. He spoke about how value structures a painting and is its foundation. He demonstrated this by drawing an apple on a table in various value plans; such as a dark background with a light foreground in contrast to a light background with a dark foreground and other various sequences.

Mr Faucher is a dedicated working artist in our community. He is a graduate of Mass College of Art, Attended School of the Worcester Art Museum and the Cape Cod School of Art.
